McKenzie partners with venture-backed companies to build VP and C-level teams across Marketplace, Consumer & SMB businesses. She focuses on President/COO, Marketing & Product searches and is especially passionate about portfolio companies that will have a meaningful consumer/prosumer impact.

Prior to Kindred, McKenzie spent seven years building investment teams for private equity and venture capital firms at Dynamics Search Partners. While at Dynamics, she started the firm’s technology practice and opened the firm’s West Coast office.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, McKenzie is an East Coast transplant (moved to San Francisco in 2015) and has been happily exploring, skiing, cycling & backpacking across our west coast.
